Aboriginal Perspectives
Mathematics Workshops

The Aboriginal Perspectives Mathematics Workshops were created by students in the Saskatchewan Urban Native Teacher Education Program and the Faculty of Education at the University of Regina, under the direction of Drs. Kathy Nolan and Harley Weston. These workshops have been delivered to teachers in Regina Saskatchewan and at teachers' conferences in Saskatoon and Prince Albert. The workshops were also delivered to teachers in Yellowknife, Northwest Territories and subsequent to that Kathy and Harley have worked with teachers in Yellowknife to help them create mathematics lessons connected to the Dene Kede Curriculum.
